This past weekend, Media Girls LA hosted a media networking event at luxury clothing store Deeplifestyles in Hollywood. Attendees had the chance to network with media coporates from BET, OWN, The Shade Room, and more as they dined on food from celebrity chef Bernard James of Taste of Caribbean LA and sipped cocktails courtesy of Our Vodka, Meukow Cognac. The event, hosted by MJ Jackson, offered an inviting environment for like-minded media influencers in Hollywood, without the typical Hollywood scene. Actress and choreographer Drea Kelly and social media influencer Miracle Watts were among the attendees of the event.
Media Girls LA is an organization whose mission is to uplift and share knowledge, experiences, and network expertise skills with women who aspire to be the next generation of entertainment personalities. Comprised of female media socialites and influencers heavily involved in the entertainment industry, Media Girls LA uses techniques they have learned in the industry through networking and other means of interactive exchange to expand their reach to all ages and levels as well as assist others in branding and promotion opportunities by providing essential tools for success and sustainability.
