Tyrese will reportedly put his lawyer hat on and act as his own attorney. According to Page Six, Tyrese’s lawyer, Terry Ross, is no longer representing the singer/actor after Ross filed for a substitution of attorney.

Tyrese and his ex-wife, Norma Gibson, will have another hearing in their child custody battle on Nov. 14 and it’s likely that Tyrese will defend himself. He could also hire another attorney before the hearing. Norma is seeking a permanent restraining order against Tyrese after claiming that he beat their 10-year-old child, Shayla.

However, after an investigation the child abuse case was dropped. This occurred after Tyrese posted a video of himself crying on Instagram. He spoke about not being able to see his daughter and paying $13k per month in child support.

Following the post, the video went viral and Tyrese became the laughing stock of social media. But some were concerned for the actor and his mental health.

Days later, Tyrese posted a photo of himself receiving a call from Jada Pinkett Smith. He would later claim that Will and Jada offered to give him $5 million to help pay his bills. The Smith’s called the claim false.

This past weekend, Tyrese blamed his erratic behavior on “psych meds” that he was taking. He went to social media to say that he flushed the meds down the toilet and that they were completely out of his system. He also apologized to his fans.

At this point, Tyrese should stay off of social media and handle his business until the case is over, or he has another project to promote.
