Malia Obama, former President Barack Obama’s eldest daughter, is getting a lesson she won’t receive inside of a Harvard University classroom: get yourself new and more dependable friends who won’t post everything you do onto social media. Or sell you off to the nearest tabloid.

The former first daughter, 19, was allegedly captured on video by her “friends” smoking inside an undisclosed bathroom. She was also photographed making out with a boy at the legendary Harvard-Yale game in New Haven, Connecticut, Business Insider and the British Daily Mail report.

Malia Obama was accepted to Harvard last spring and, after taking a year off between high school and college, the 19-year-old has used the time to settle in to campus. And it appears she has definitely gotten settled.

Obama was filmed in a series of interesting episodes at the music festival Lollapalooza in April, which was widely covered in the media. Much has also been made of her 2016 internship for the now disgraced sexual predator Harvey Weinstein, a former Hollywood movie mogul.

One site had a video of Malia Obama blowing smoke rings in an undisclosed bathroom location. The site Barstool Sports posted a video on Instagram Thursday (which has since been deleted). Though her father was a famous smoker, her mother disdains it intensely.

The caption on the video claims it is Malia Obama and that she is “firing off them O’s like a boss.” Overlaying the video are the words “F–king get your camera right now.” The video has been watched about half a million times before it was taken down.

More interesting to pop culture observers is the young man that Malia Obama has gotten reportedly attached to. She is apparently dating the son of a British investment manager. TMZ posted a video of her kissing the fellow Harvard student during the Harvard-Yale football game over the weekend. That video is still online.

The Daily Mail identified the man as Rory Farquharson, a former head boy at a $47,000-a-year private school in England.

Farquharson, also 19, began his studies at Harvard in 2016. He was a golf and rugby player and was said to be “popular” and “quite a catch.”

Farquharson’s Twitter account, which has now been deleted, said he is aiming to follow in the footsteps of his 57-year-old father, Charles, the CEO of the London-based Insight Investment Management Limited. His mother, Catherine, 58, is also a qualified accountant. The family reportedly lives in a six-bed detached estate in Woodbridge, Suffolk, The Telegraph reported.

One point of contention is the fact that Farquharson is said to have criticized President Trump on Twitter, according to The Telegraph. However, The Daily Mail is reporting that Farquharson is following the current president on Twitter but did not follow Barack Obama.
