Music lovers were immensely blessed with great music this year. From gritty trap music with catchy beats to love albums that made us emotional about relationships from five years ago, artists came with the heat this year. Here, we have compiled a list of our top five albums in 2017. Ironically, four of the albums were just nominated for 2018 Grammys so we’re clearly on to something. Check them out:

Migos: Culture

Migos made sure our year started off lit with Culture. Though it is only their second studio album, the success of it undoubtedly took Migos and their status to new heights. The album featured the likes of DJ Khaled, Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, and Lil Uzi Vert, while Metro Boomin and Murda Beats, among others, provided production, creatingthis perfect trap masterpiece. With Culture II reportedly dropping in January 2018, it seems Migos will be solidifying their place as the princes of trap  Gucci Mane will forever reign as king.

The best of Culture: “Bad and Boujie,” “T-Shirt,” “Slippery”
