According to the New York Daily News, an inside source says Omarosa Manigault-Newman was notorious for secretly taping conversations on her iPhone while an aide to President Donald Trump.
“Everyone knows Omarosa loves to record people and meetings using the voice notes app on her iPhone. Don’t be surprised if she has secret audio files on everyone in that White House, past and present staffers included,” says the source.
There are also reports she has approached top lawyers to represent her, including Harvey Weinstein’s ex-attorney, Lisa Bloom, and Bill Cosby’s attorney, Monique Pressley.
Omarosa resigned (and was reportedly fired) back in December. She earned the maximum salary of $179,700, as of the most recent salary disclosure last July.
Following her unceremonious exit from the White House and in a move to draw interest for a possible $10M book deal, Omarosa said in an interview with “Good Morning America,”There were a lot of things I observed over the past year that I was uncomfortable with. When I have the chance to tell my story, it’s quite a story to tell.”
Omarosa, 43, accused the White House of lack of diversity.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders retorted that the White House has a “really diverse team across the board.
“Something that we strive for every day is to add and grow, to be more diverse and more representative of the country at large, and we’re going to continue to do that.”
