Lil Wayne goes for the gusto on ‘Big Bad Wolf’

Rap veteran Lil Wayne is continuing to show flashes of his old self with each release. After releasing Dedication 6 on Christmas, followed by “Family Feud” ft. Drake, Weezy is back with another flip of a hit. This time he’s remixing Black Youngsta’s track “Hip Hopper.”

Wayne left no room for questions on “Big Bad Wolf.” He’s making the claim of still being at the top of his craft with clever bars and witty delivery on the track:

“So give me a sec, I’ll go at your neck

And send you back looking like the Dracula bit you (Rrr!)

Yeah, cannibalism going animalistic in a line of civilians

These n— clones, copycats, and chameleons”

The low-profile production of Mike WiLL Made-It created the perfect sonic atmosphere for Wayne to go off, which is never a terrible thing. While we wait for Dedication 6: Reloaded, let Weezy provide you with new music to catch ahold of.
