A Duluth, Georgia, dad and daughter have created a YouTube video that rivals Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” and “The Late Late Show’s” James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke.”
Seymore Harrison Jr. and his six-year-old daughter Charity Joy shot a video that has garnered over 2M views on YouTube. In their version, Charity Joy with her dad as a background singer sells Girl Scout cookies to the tune of Childish Gambino’s 2018 Grammy Award-winning “Redbone.”
Cute Charity Joy wins your heart and makes you reach for your pearls. She starts, “Thin Mints, you wanna order some before it’s too late. We also got Trefoils and they taste great. Tagalongs will make you feel fine.”
Her dad joins for the close:
“Samoas are coconut cookies with caramel. You wanna get them now because they’re gonna sell. I promise it is worth your time. If you want ‘em, you can have ‘em. If you need ‘em, you can buy ‘em, oh! If you want ‘em, you can buy ‘em. Now stay woke, buy these cookies. Girl Scout sellin’ delicious cookies. Now stay woke, buy these cookies. Don’t you wait too late.”
