Another case of extreme sexual abuse has been reported by authorities. This time the incident involved a woman who allowed her boyfriend to make porn videos with her 3-year-old daughter.
According to a press release by Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro and Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, Kayla Parker, 26, was arrested for crimes that allegedly took place when she dated David Carbonaro for four years.
In July, police raided Carbonaro’s home in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, and discovered a multitude of sexualized images and videos that featured a 3-year-old girl. Carbonaro told police that the child was his ex-girlfriend’s daughter. He also told authorities that Parker would willingly walk the girl into his room and leave them alone for hours at a time.
Carbonaro was arrested in July and is currently awaiting trial for the possession, production, and distribution of child pornography.
On Oct. 2, 2018, Parker was arrested in her hometown of Dayton, Ohio, and extradited to Pennsylvania where she was charged with sexual abuse and exploitation of children, endangering the welfare of a child and indecent assault. Her bail was set on Oct. 15 at 10 percent of $1 million.
“The crimes that this mother is accused of are absolutely appalling, and although she may have believed that she left her alleged crimes behind her when she moved to Ohio, we were pleased to assist Pennsylvania Attorney General Shapiro to find, interview, and arrest the defendant on these allegations,” said Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine in a press release. “My office’s Crimes Against Children Unit works every day to keep kids safe and hold predators accountable, and we are happy to have helped Pennsylvania authorities with their investigation.”
