Social media users are great at creating challenges that capture the attention of the online community. From the “New Freezer Challenge” to the “In My Feelings Challenge” participating in and watching these challenges take off is always a good time.
This time the challenge that is stealing our attention is all about age. The “10 Year Challenge” aka #10yearchallenge and #howhardhasaginghityouchallenge is all about how you’ve aged over the past 10 years. Hundreds of thousands have used Instagram to share a photo of themselves from 10 years ago side by side with a current photo.
Although the challenge may be a little harsh for some, it’s all in good fun. Most people just laugh about how they used to dress, the different trends, having braces, or old hairstyles.
With any challenge, there is a well-deserved winner. This time, Gabrielle Union takes the win. She posted a photo collage of herself with the caption, “1998. 2008. 2018 #20year10yearchallenge.” The “Being Mary Jane” star took the challenge to a whole new level with a photo of herself from 20 years ago. Let’s just say the now-46-year-old has aged beautifully looking just about the same. Fans agreed in the comments that Union slayed the challenge.
