The company recently released their biotin-infused Rosemary Mint Collection that is touted to encourage growth. As a girl with curly hair who is always trying to find products to help me retain moisture and grow my hair longer, I was excited to try these products.
This Mielle Organics line features natural growth stimulating ingredients like coconut oil, rosemary oil, peppermint oil, honey and biotin. Each of these products promises to provide nourishment to dry, weak, brittle hair while ultimately strengthening.

The Rosemary Mint strengthening shampoo provided my hair with a good slip that allowed me to detangle while cleansing. I love products that have rosemary and mint because they make my scalp tingle giving me an invigorating cleanse. Both the daily creme conditioner and hair masque have a thick, creamy consistency. Although I feel that these products do provide hydration through the nutrient-rich formula, they were a little heavy for my fine, 3B hair. Because my hair tends to be on the dry side, I loved the Rosemary Mint scalp and hair strengthening oil. I usually massage my scalp nightly and I’ve now incorporated this product into my routine. I am also a fan of the edge control because it provides hold but isn’t overly oily and doesn’t cause flaking. Overall, I think this product line has beneficial natural ingredients that will promote strength and growth. For my hair type, however, I would use this line to do a protective bun, ponytail, or twist out rather than a wash and go.
