One of the most volatile and bombastic characters in the annals of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reality show’s history is reportedly set to make her celebrated return next season.
Kenya Moore was unceremoniously ousted from the Bravo TV franchise series after season 10 for a number of seemingly unforgivable transgressions against the network. As a result, she took what amounted to a single-season moratorium from the show. This reprieve from the rigors of filming gave her ample nurturing time for her newborn baby, Brooklyn Doris Daly.
Now Moore, 47, will return to RHOA for season 12, according to Celebrity Insider and Straight from the A.
She couldn’t be happier, especially since she campaigned so hard to get back in the game, a source told HollywoodLife.com.
“Kenya Moore is really excited to be returning to RHOA next season as the deal is almost done. She truly wanted to make this happen. She has been spending a lot of time in L.A., but will be in Atlanta fulltime once filming starts in June. The other ladies are also excited to have her back. Cynthia, Porsha, Eva, and Kandi will be returning,’ the source told the news outlet.”
The wife of restauranteur Marc Daly apparently confirmed her return when she posted the photo below with esteemed actress Loretta Devine on her Instagram page. She put up the same pic twice on IG, with the second one exclaiming to her fans “hehehe, I’m back b——s!”

However, there are only so many peaches to go around. So if Moore is about to be handed her peach back, that means the producers will be taking a peach away from someone else.
According to Celebrity Insider and Straight from the A, RHOA newcomer Shamari DeVoe will not be returning as a full-time cast member. In other words, she will not be holding a peach anymore. The publications went on to say that producers haven’t decided if DeVoe, the wife of Ronnie Devoe who is a member of the legendary group New Edition, will be fired or demoted to “friend” status.
Meanwhile, the other women on the show will all return in their customary roles. Moore has been cruising through life the past year on the Left Coast, but will return to the ATL to begin filming for season 12 in June.
Mostly everyone is happy to have Moore back, especially Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey, who openly campaigned for her return. Moreover, the media reported a significant dip in ratings during Moore’s absence; so the show producers are betting that Moore will infuse some of her magic back into the series.
