Chaka Khan and Michael McDonald have teamed up for a co-headlining tour for the summer. The tour made a stop in Minnesota at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel.

Before Khan hit the stage, she had a meet and greet with fans. Some fans brought in her old albums, dolls that they made for her and T-shirts to have her sign or keep. Many fans shed tears and some embraced her and thanked her for her music.

When Khan entered the stage to a nearly sold-out crowd, concertgoers gave her a standing ovation. Her body transformation looked amazing. As she began to sing her chart-topping hits, “I’m Every Woman,” “Feel for You” and many more, the crowd sang along. Khan’ performance and vocal ability were very impressive.

Khan released her latest album “Hello Happiness” in February. This is the first album from her in 12 years. The lead single, “Like Sugar,” sparked the #likesugarchallenge. After 40 plus years in the business, Khan has proved she has staying power.
