Attorney-turned-fashion guru Leah Frazier has built an empire as an award-winning fashion journalist, media personality, celebrity stylist, digital marketing expert and in-demand fashion consultant to notable brands.
She received the “Rising Star Award” from Fashion Group International of Dallas in 2017 for fashion blogging and is the co-author of The Success Factor (with Cheryl Polote-Williamson), which was recognized with an African American Literary Award in 2018.
As a Black woman, what do you consider your superpowers to be?
My superpowers are my unwavering ability to persevere throughout any circumstance; multitask many different jobs, roles and projects at one time; and stay humble and focused as God continues to take me higher in my purpose during my life.
What key skills make you unique as an African American female leader?
One of my key skills would be my ability to stick in the fight and persevere. I work in an industry where there aren’t many women who look like me at the top. At a time where people choose comfort over discomfort, I’m willing to be uncomfortable and to fight to break down barriers, so that others may be able to come after me and have a chance in the industry.
