DJ Drama was apparently involved in some drama while on vacation with his girlfriend, Debakii. The two were in Turks and Caicos when they allegedly got into an argument.
Debakii shared images of her swollen and bleeding hand to her 150,000 Instagram followers and said DJ Drama caused her injuries. “Bleeding from how hard he bit my hand,” Debakki posted on social media. “[Drama] is a f—— woman beater.”
Debakii also told her followers that she was not talking to police because she was unfamiliar with the legal process of that country. However, she posted another image on Instagram stories where she expressed her gratitude to the police in Turks and Caicos. “Thank you for the police in Turks and Caicos. Nothing but nice people to me and helpful and did the right thing,” she wrote.
Hot New Hip-Hop reports that Debakki did not file charges against Drama, and the Atlanta-based rapper was not arrested for the alleged abuse.
DJ Drama has yet to respond to the allegations. On Sept. 23, 2019, Drama posted, “With my skin tanned and my head bald and my label who been so patient. Me and Cannon back to work but we still smell like a vacation.”
