“People keep asking, ‘How are you gonna forgive somebody that … ?’ ” Holyfield said. “I say, everything that ever happened, at some point in time, I did it. Mike bit me, I say I bit somebody too … it just wasn’t on TV … I bit a guy in his shoulder. He dropped me, and I didn’t know when you had a concussion, you’ll bite too.”
Tyson, who says he is regularly asked to take pictures for people who ask him to pose as if he is “biting their ears,” then suggested the two capitalize from their joint history. “You might be in business because we’re going to make some holy ears,” he told Evander. “Some edibles [of little ears] that got a bite taken out of ’em.”
Holyfield responded flatly, “Well, I could do that.”
It remains to be seen if the two former champions will move to create a gummy that makes them money, but it is great to see them playing nice after all these years.
