Late rapper Nipsey Hussle racked up three posthumous nominations for the 2020 Grammy Awards and his family, friends, and fans couldn’t be happier.
Hussle who was shot in front of his Marathon Clothing Store, earned nods for Best Rap Performance for “Racks in the Middle,” Best Rap/Sung Performance for “Higher,” a collaboration with DJ Khaled and John Legend, and Best Rap Song for “Racks in the Middle.”
Hussle who was previously nominated for a Grammy in 2019 for best rap album for his debut studio album, “Victory Lap” may have a chance at his first Grammy. Although he won’t be there to receive it his longtime girlfriend Lauren London and sister Samantha Smith are very happy.

After sharing three images with his photo by the name of the awards he was nominated on her Instagram story, she proceeded to post a special message on her page to honor the moment.
