What is the best way to learn how to meditate in the Psalms?

The book of Psalms is filled with instructions that are written to help you get through arduous times. Not to mention, David wrote a lot of the book while crying out to God during times of hardship. For example, if you are going through something, find a passage in Psalms that fits your situation, meditate and speak the word on it until you sense your breakthrough.

As a pastor, how do you get ministered to?

To be a pastor is one of the toughest leadership roles known to mankind. As one who relentlessly takes the job to help others problem-solve, maintain life as a husband, father and grandpop, it can be emotionally and physically overwhelming. I am blessed to have spiritual leaders to reciprocate the encouragement to my spirit. Pastor Barbara Giles-Coleman and Bishop Willie L. Cook Jr. minister to me on a regular basis.

Who is your favorite gospel artist? Why?

Fred Hammond. He’s such a talented artist. Through his ministry of music, he composes songs from biblical references and adds melodies that make them relatable to things happening in the world today. In fact, I’m going to speak this one into existence and “I look forward to collaborating with him soon!”
