What was the hardest part of completing this project?
The hardest part of completing this project was getting to a space where I was comfortable in being this vulnerable and transparent. It takes a lot to put your insecurities, fears and personal mishaps on display for the world to see and hear. That was definitely the hardest thing for me [because] I’m a more isolated and private person. However, I concluded that it’s not about me but more about me sharing these experiences in order to help and inspire others.
What’s next for you?
Well, of course, I’m out promoting this book heavy, doing lots of media promo, podcasts, radio and book signings. Also, [I’m] still working on lots of music. Working with J. Cole, Eminem, Lecrae and many others on music, so we will see what happens with that. Hopefully, we [will] get to hear something very soon.
