Damian Lillard on his recent groin injury
The Portland Trail Blazers point guard was selected for the 2020 All-Star team but due to his injury was unable to play. He did, however, show up for Media Day to report on his injury. “I got a grade 1-2 groin strain. That’s pretty much it. It’s a tough injury, it came at a tough time. Fortunately for me, that game was on the 12th [February], and we don’t play again until the 21st. That’s at least nine days to see [if] I am [able] to do treatment, do some rehab and go from there,” he said.
Chris Paul and a potential 1:1 tournament
CP3, who currently plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder, was asked about the possibility of a 1-on-1 tournament being added to the All-Star events and who he would want to play against. He responded, “You guys keep asking all these hypothetical questions. Who would I play in the 1-on-1 game? Me.”
