Black-owned restaurants to support in 10 cities across America

Washington, D.C.

Florida Avenue Grill – This D.C. landmark has been serving up breakfast since 1944. It is the result of Lacey C. Wilson’s vision to start a restaurant where Black people could enjoy a nice meal free from harassment. Florida Avenue Grill temporarily closed during the pandemic due to financial struggles but has now reopened.
