But when the cameras are off, Madalen is a Renaissance young lady of sorts. She’s a foodie, thanks to her mother, who Madalen describes as an “amazing chef” and enjoys homework. She’s a cat mom to Gabbee Pork Chop Tomika Bacon Baguette Mills, who traveled with her to England for filming. She also has a growing interest in fashion and spends time practicing makeup techniques on a mannequin head when she’s not practicing piano and playing Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September” on the piano and bass guitar.
As the world watches Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey, Madalen shared her own family’s holiday traditions.
“My mom is an amazing chef. She doesn’t think so, but I think she’s really good, so we normally have, like, a Christmas meal with my cat, Gabby Pork Chop, and watch the live-action version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Mr. Jim Carrey in it. I love that movie. We don’t normally do a lot for Christmas except for open presents, be thankful and spend time with family,” she said.
Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey is currently streaming on Netflix.
