NFT collectibles from Brady were also released this week and NFT’s from Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzky, Tony Hawk and Derek Jeter will be available in the near future. They can be purchased at www.autograph.io. NFTs are “one-of-a-kind” digital assets that can be bought and sold like any other piece of property. However, NFTs artwork integrated with music or videos or other technical assets can be tokenized to create a digital certificate of ownership verified, registered and trackable on the blockchain. Osaka’s NFTs with Autograph range from $12-$100.
“NFTs and sports are a natural fit — it’s the new wave of collecting digitally on your phone and devices. Autograph is also making NFTs much more accessible with various price ranges, so I think mostly anyone that wants to be a part of this ultimately can, which I find really appealing,” she also told People.
In the interview Osaka further revealed that Brady has mentored her and considers the seven-time Super Bowl champion one of her role models.
“Tom inspires me in so many ways as an athlete and an entrepreneur. He’s always rethinking the playbook and pushing boundaries while remaining so true to himself, which is something I try to do as well. He has led himself both on and off the field with grace and has been a great role model. I am excited to be a part of this and to continue to learn and grow in other areas of my life,” she continued.
