Lisa Yolanda George shares how to celebrate life in her new book

What inspires you to write?
I’m a vessel of love with an earthly mission to help raise the vibration of the collective. I’m using my life as a ministry to encourage others to be their best version of themselves and receive all that is divinely theirs. One of the ways that I do that is through writing.

Lisa Yolanda George shares how to celebrate life in her new book

How important is it for Black writers and readers to have their stories told?
There have been many attempts to sweep our stories under the rug and other attempts to downplay our amazing-ness. But Black people are a powerful group of people who have been contributing a lot since the beginning of time. And, we have lots more to contribute.

What advice can you offer to others who aspire to write?
Whatever has been itching you it needs to come out. Just let it flow through your writing and do not be concerned about the outcome. Believe that the universe will send you all the people and things to make this all come about. I’m open to providing guidance, so feel free to reach out to me at my socials below.

What’s next for you?
To polish up and publish my unpublished books; continue enhancing my business operations; keep pouring on that self-love and; continue incorporating lots of fun and rest. I have a high intention of robbing the cemetery of all of my gifts, so I will continue to move in an effort to ensure that. I love engaging in forward-moving, healthy conversations, so please follow me @CarpingDiemsAndStuff on IG, FB, and my website.
