Ye West’s Donda stem player has arrived as fans shared their excitement on Oct. 27 after finally receiving their new tech device. The Donda stem player was made available to order back in August at $200 and allows users to manipulate songs using the device by separating parts of the compositions and tweaking the sounds. Among the features is the ability to “control vocals, drums, bass and samples” and “split any song into stems.”

Besides being able to curate their own experience of West’s latest project, the stem player features Donda’s original 27 tracks as well as a few surprises including three extra songs. West redid his verse on the Andre 3000 assisted “Life of the Party” and included the original lyrics where he wasn’t dissing Drake. That version was omitted from the final version released on streaming platforms.

West also added a new version of “Remote Control,” which now features both Kid Cudi and Young Thug, who was removed from the digital version. He included the track “Never Abandon Your Family,” which was played during West’s first Donda listening session in Atlanta in July but failed to make the final release as well. “Up From The Ashes,” which was originally recorded for his previous album Jesus Is King, was put on the Donda stem player, too.

West, who was officially granted a name change by the courts this month to Ye, filed a trademark application for a string of tech products that will bear his mother and album title’s name. The name could possibly appear on computers, tablets, audio speakers and surround sound systems as well as headphones, earphones and wireless headsets. The brand may include smartwatches, high-tech smart glasses, activity trackers as well as protective covers for tablets.
