Moses Moseley was found dead in an Atlanta suburb from a gunshot wound authorities are investigating as a possible suicide, according to multiple reports.

Moody, 31, was a zombie on the popular “The Walking Dead” TV show. He was found in Stockbridge, Georgia, TMZ reported. His family filed a missing person report after he wasn’t heard from since Jan. 23. A car tracker service helped lead them to his body days later.

“When he was around everyone was so happy,” his representative Tabitha Minchew told The Wrap. “He made everyone so happy. We’re all trying to wrap our heads around it as well.”

Moseley publicly expressed immense gratitude for the direction of his life and career this past New Year’s Eve on social media.

“I just want to say thank you to The Most High and everyone who helped make this year the most successful year of my life!” Moseley posted to Instagram on Dec. 31, 2021. “I know 2022 is going to be even better. Wishing everyone a happy, safe and prosperous New Year! May this year bring us all everything we desire and more!”

Moseley is the latest Black celebrity suicide in 2022. Other notable deaths from the year’s first month include Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst; Hyattsville, Virginia, Mayor Kevin Ward; and Regina King’s son, Ian Alexander Jr.
