D.L. Hughley has the time today. He went full fury on Ye West after Ye threatened him on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
The famously blunt Hughley must have said something that irked Ye, which fans have learned is not hard to do. The hair-trigger tempered Yeezy threatened Hughley for telling VLAD TV that Ye’s behavior toward Kim Kardashian is that of a stalker. He also advised Kardashian to take steps to counteract Ye’s increasingly disquieting actions.
When Yeezy got wind of Hughley’s scathing words against him, Ye went off on him as well as his estranged wife Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend Pete Davidson.
“I told y’all before about this TikTtok stuff. Now my 8-year-old on here singing she fell in love with an emo girl,” Kanye penned in the now-deleted post on Instagram that was screenshot by the likes of The Shade Room and many other outlets. “Leftist don’t want fathers to have no say in our children’s lives I don’t want my kids at godless Sierra Canyon school I got a voice and I’m not having this. And Perez Hilton you still ain’t answer my question. And never put my name next to the word abuse. Don’t play with my name like that, I’m a real person who wants the best for my children.”
In a second post that was also deleted, Ye aimed his sights at the Kings of Comedy alum.
“And DL Hughley is a pawn.Yeah I know a king not supposed to address a pawn but I address everything and find addresses, DL. So don’t speak on me or my children I can afford to hurt u,” Kanye said.
In a third IG post that Ye — you guessed it, took it down afterward — he also had this to say to Hughley.
“Wuuuuuut??? DL lives in Calabasas???????? Yoooooo God is good 😊,” Kanye captioned a screenshot sharing the comedian’s residence.
Hughley, who is routinely abrasive whether he’s dropping jokes or not, was hardly bothered by Yeezy’s threats. Hughley, of course, used Yeezy’s words to deliver some devastating trackback jokes at the troubled emcee.
