The debate about what is and is not Atlanta and who can lay claim to Atlanta as home has not stopped, and Ludacris shared a freestyle over Omeretta the Great’s viral song “Sorry Not Sorry.”

In Omeretta’s song, she claims that College Park is not Atlanta, which is where Ludacris lives. In Latto’s freestyle over the song, she shouts-out Ludacris saying that even though he isn’t from the city, he made Atlanta what it is today.

On March 26, 2022, Ludacris went on Instagram and dropped his version.

Luda raps: “I was born in Illinois/Mama making hella noise/’Cause a star was born and I’ll take this as Omeretta gave him credit for it/’Cause early I moved to College Park, got rich like Ludacris hit the lotto/I spent so much time in Magic City ‘Every day I’m so Atlanta’ was always my motto.”

From then on, Ludacris puts on for the city that he made even more famous with the feature he did on Jermaine Dupri’s “Welcome To Atlanta.”

“I pop Atlanta, won’t let nobody mock Atlanta/I brought millions of dollars to the city/Now the whole world jack Atlanta,” Ludacris raps. “No matter what block Atlanta/No city can opp Atlanta/Ever since the South had something to say, nobody can stop Atlanta/They won’t top Atlanta/We don’t knock Atlanta/We got proper manners/But the whole world know we’ll cock a hammer.”

It will be interesting to see who hops on the song next.
