NBA Hall of Famer-to-be Dwyane Wade is taking a severe thrashing on social media for allowing his transgender daughter to kiss a transgender boy in front of him and his wife at age 14.

The legendary Miami Heat basketball star and wife, actress Gabrielle Union-Wade, posted for their combined 40 million Instagram followers photos of daughter Zaye being affectionate with her boyfriend. The photos have since been deleted from IG.

The entire family also posted photos of the clan gathering for the Easter holiday on Sunday, April 17, 2022, which included D-Wade’s eldest son Zaire, 20, with his girlfriend, and adopted daughter Kaavia.

The photos were triggering for many on social media who vehemently objected to the content as well as the teen Zaya Wade being allowed to engage in public displays of affection in front of their parents.

Ironically, one of the loudest critics is an openly gay man Andrew Caldwell who became a walking meme when he yelled “delivert!” in church several years ago, claiming that he had been delivered from homosexuality.

Caldwell denounced D-Wade and Union for allowing the embrace and kiss. Others concurred with his sentiments, with one person penning, “Drew today is the first time ever I have to agree with you. “

“It’s the fact that they’re still kids! My 14-year-old won’t be kissing nobody and taking pics of it,” another pointed out. A third echoed the sentiment, writing, “Yeah, I agree it’s a bit much,” while another chimed, “It’s alottttt of red flags in that family ..,” while another remarked, “Whole story is sad and poor parenting.”

Others, however, admonished the critics, with one person saying in the comments: “If you are bothered by Zaya Wade then understand Zaya is not the issue. You are the issue. Go fix that issue in therapy.” Another added: “How about stop telling people how to raise their child!!!! Every household is different. Worry about your own s— before trying to smell someone else’s.”

The debate bled onto Twitter and raged on for hours.
