Thompson, who earned her master’s from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, was tapped to take the helm for Lifetime’s ripped-from-the-headlines murder mystery of a dastardly wife and her amorous infatuation with her secret lover in “Suitcase Killer: The Melanie McGuire Story.” The show premieres June 19, 2022.
