Ime Udoka is reportedly set to get another gig in the NBA. In wake of the Brooklyn Nets firing Steve Nash, the team is reportedly prepared to hire Udoka as the group’s next coach.
Udoka is currently serving a season-long suspension from the Boston Celtics following an independent investigation that determined Udoka had an inappropriate relationship with a woman affiliated with the organization.
Last season, Udoka led the Boston Celtics to the NBA Finals in his first year in the position.
The Nets started the 2022-2023 season 2-5 after getting swept by Udoka and the Celtics last season in the first round. The team is led by the All-Star trio of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons.
