Bambi hosted an exclusive listening party for her newest single, “Naggin,” to showcase her latest music venture. The rapper entertained a capacity crowd at the House of Shimmer with great food, drinks and giveaways. Bambi also expressed at the event the need for breast cancer awareness in our community as she introduced a close friend who survived her cancer battle.

Teary eyes and strong emotions were evident in the room as Bambi gave away makeovers, vouchers for hair services, and pink wig units to honor those battling breast cancer. Bambi’s mother is also a breast cancer survivor and is credited with inspiring Bambi to accomplish all that she has today.

Her best friend, who is a breast cancer survivor, flew to Atlanta for Bambi’s listening party and was welcomed with pampering and a makeover. Also, Bambi’s co-stars from “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” Rasheeda and Kirk Frost, attended the listening party to support their friend.

What has the transition from television to making music?

I went from music to TV and back to doing music; it just feels like second nature. There are people here supporting me that were with me from the beginning of my journey. I have so many people that stuck around and made things a lot easier for me.

What is the inspiration behind your new music?

Everything. It’s been years, and I’ve experienced so much since being a mom and an entrepreneur, so my life is the inspiration.
