Essence hosted its 16th annual Black Women in Hollywood awards event on March 9, at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Many celebrities graced the red carpet such as Meagan Good, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Loni Love, Storm Reid, and Karrueche Tran.
Yet, fans were shocked to see Tran with a short pixie cut on the white carpet. She later posted on her Instagram story and gave a shoutout to hairstylist Cesar Deleon Ramirez for the new look.
“Shoutout to @cesar4styles for this amazing cut. Thank you for being so gentle and patient with me. I love it so much, love ya!” Tran said.
She also made an appearance at the Green Carpet Fashion Awards to kick off Oscar weekend.
