Superfan Shannon Sharpe is getting hammered into oblivion by Twitter users for saying he would volunteer to “pour honey” on LeBron James.
Sharpe, the co-host of the popular Fox Sports morning show “Undisputed” opposite Skip Bayless, was championing one of King James’ most recent Twitter posts where he was cryptically blasting one of his opponents.
James, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, told fans that if they see him fighting a grizzly bear “to help the bear.”

That was in response to his opponent Dillon Brooks of the Memphis Grizzlies who said he likes to “poke bears” and summarily dismissed James as “old” during their playoff matchup. Dillon added that he has no respect for anyone unless they drop 40 on him.
Well, after the Lakers poetically eviscerated the Grizzlies by exactly 40 points, 125-85, to win the series 4-2, James finally struck back forcefully at the loser Brooks without mentioning his name.
But it was Sharpe’s response to James’ next Instagram post to his 126 million followers that got people’s attention.
