In July 2023, Atlanta rapper Future dissed Russell Wilson in the song “Turn Yo Clic Up” featuring Quavo. Unfortunately for Wilson, it doesn’t look like Future is the only one on his bad side.
Marshawn Lynch, Wilson’s former teammate on the Seattle Seahawks, recently opened up on “Club Shay Shay” about his relationship with the quarterback, and basically saying that their isn’t one between the two.
“I respect Russell as a player and a teammate,” Lynch said. “ll take Russ and I’ll put him right there at quarterback and I’ll rock with him because I’ve done that. As far as anything else, can’t pick up the phone and call old boy or nothing. I don’t got his number.”

Lynch recalled an incident after the Seahawks won a game, where Wilson had an underwhelming performance, but the running back had a big game. Following the game, Lynch asked a staffer for Wilson’s number. Lynch then says a blocked number called him and he didn’t pick up at first, but the staffer informed him that it was Wilson who called him.
Lynch called back and told Wilson that even though he didn’t have a good game, he was there to support him, and hoped that he would do the same for him.
“His response to me was kind [of] like, ‘The f—?’ So, I told him again like, ‘Nah, bro, I’m here for you.’ His response was the same,” Lynch said. “Considering that we on the same team, going for the same goal and this is how you chose to respond to me, It was more so like, maybe you don’t understand what I’m saying? I thought I was tripping.”
