Diddy is still riding high from the overwhelming love for his latest project, The Love Album: Off the Grid, and to keep the momentum going he’s following up with a movie tie-in called Off the Grid.

The recently released trailer for the film features Diddy and rising actress-model Eva Apio in the midst of a romantic entanglement with all the usual ingredients of love, lust, drama, passion and tenderness present as the two take on adventure together, including a high-speed car chase with the police as sounds from the album provide the sonic backdrop.

“Working with Eva Apio was an incredible experience,” Diddy said via press release. “Her talent and energy brought my vision to life”.

Featuring guest appearances from Mary J. Blige, Jazmine Sullivan, H.E.R., Summer Walker, and Justin Bieber among others, The Love Album: Off the Grid, is regarded as a comeback album of sorts for Diddy. The album was a critical success debuting at No. 19 on the Billboard 200 chart and peaked at No. 2 on the Top R&B Albums chart.

No release date has been given for Off the Grid, but the film is expected to see a limited theater release before the end of the year.
