Kevin Garnett played in the NBA era where being tough and gritty would get you a lot of respect in the league. A lot of people say this era of the NBA is “soft” — and Garnett probably feels the same way.

The former NBA player recently shared his thoughts on Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole, who was traded from the Golden State Warriors during the off-season. According to Garnett, Poole’s play has not lived up to expectations, and his attitude has apparently not been the best, considering his interactions on the sidelines during games.

On Garnett’s show, “KG Certified,” Paul Pierce and he broke down Poole’s play so far this season, and Garnett did not hold back on what he thought about him.

“I saw a joint where he was talking to a teammate, he wasn’t looking at the play. That ain’t no leader,” Garnett said. “Ain’t nobody on the team listening to you, ain’t nobody hearing you. You tell a motherf—– to dive on the floor, he’s going to look at you, ‘What?’

“You flexing champ s—, but you ain’t bringing champ environment in here,” said Garnett. “You learned this in Golden State, n—-?”

Garnett then went on to make a bold statement about Poole.

“They got your a– out of there because he ain’t falling in line,” Garnett said. “N—–s like this don’t belong in our league. He does not belong in the league.

“He’s the head of a team,” said Garnett. “You see how he’s talking to teammates? ‘Shut up, my n—-, this is my team, I’ve got it.’ N—- joining the joint, throwing the towel, snorting. You can say whatever you want about me, but I ain’t never disrespected the game, I ain’t never disrespected the position of being a leader.”

The Wizards are currently 2-10, which is the second-worst record in the NBA.
