Dave Chappelle has entered the conversation and shared his thoughts on Katt Williams’ interview with Shannon Sharpe on “Club Shay Shay.” Williams took jabs at a number of Black comedians, and Chappelle was not a fan of the insults.

On Jan. 19, Chappelle was on stage at MonDERAYS at the Hollywood Improv. Though the comedian is known for having a n0-phone policy during his sets, people still found a way to record what he said about Williams.

“What part of the game is this? He only ethered n—–. He didn’t say anything about any of these White boys,” Chappelle said. “None of these White boys function like that. Katt is one of the best painters in the game. So why are you drawing ugly pictures of us? Stop.”

“Hurt people hurt people, but I am a hurt person that never hurt people, and he does it all the time: ‘F— this one, and f— that one, and f— this one,’ ” Chappelle said as he impersonated Williams. “But, n—-, I didn’t hear anything that you did wrong. He didn’t do nothing wrong? Katt didn’t do nothing wrong? Katt was talking about s— that n—– did to other n—–, but not about anything that n—– did to him.”

Chappelle continued and questioned why Williams would call out his peers when they were all trying to be in a better situation.

“If I told my story, it would break your heart,” Chappelle said. “I lost everything and never, ever told on anybody, and this n—— the arbiter of truth. Katt, listen, I f— with Katt hard, but … DeRay, tell me, what part of the game f—- up another n—— paper? What part of the game is about telling on another n—-?”
