Chris Brown wants to make it clear that his beef with Quavo is not over.
The “Call Me Every Day” singer took to social media to clear up any misconceptions of a truce after a clip went viral of himself and the former Migos rapper seated next to each other at the Rhude Fashion Show in Paris recently.
Fans had begun to post congratulatory comments on the pair seeming to reconcile their differences but Brown set the record straight and shared that they only ended up next to each other because the show’s coordinator assigned their seats that way and he decided to play it cool.
“Can’t pick who u sit by,” Brown commented on the clip. “F— all that growth s—. N—- not finna fumble my bag for little n—–s.”
The long-standing beef between the two musicians reportedly began when rumors started to make the rounds that Quavo and Brown’s ex, Karrueche Tran had began seeing one another. The rumor mill kicked into high gear when pictures of Tran and Quavo leaving a Migos concert together became public in 2017.
Brown of course, had a publicly tumultuous relationship with Tran that resulted in allegations of abuse, lawsuits, and restraining orders. Sources close to Brown say that the singer felt especially “betrayed” by Quavo pursuing Tran because he and the “Wall to Wall” rapper at one time shared a close friendship.
