Shannon Sharpe is clapping back at Mike Epps for making a joke about him being gay at one of his latest comedy shows.

During one of Epp’s comedy sets, he claimed that Sharpe asked him to come on the show, but there was a reason the comedian said he declined.

“That n—- Shannon Sharpe called me trying to do an interview,” Epps said. “I said ‘No Madea, I ain’t doing no interview. You not gone look across from me and look at my balls when I’m sitting down.’ I thought he was going to attack Katt.”

On Sharpe’s show “Nightcap” with Chad Ochocinco, the former NFL player had a lengthy rant prepared for Epps.

“Mention my name again, and I’m gonna put the DM … and I don’t like doing this. But you’re lying,” Sharpe said. “I don’t care about all that other stuff.  You can say I’m gay … I don’t care about that. ‘Cause I won’t chase a lie. But I won’t let you lie on my name.”

Sharpe continued, claiming that Epps lied about him reaching out to be on “Club Shay Shay.”

“Say my name again, and I’m gonna release the DM. Because you’re lying. You said I reached out to you to come on ‘Club Shay Shay,’ and you’re a mofo lie,” Sharpe said. “Now when I see you, I’m gone see if you’re about that. I’m gone see if you want to say what you been saying, trying to get some jokes because you got mad because Katt Williams did what he did.

“Them saying I’m gay and this and that, it ain’t affecting my bottom line. Now if it starts affecting my bottom line, Ima make you put your cards on the table. But that don’t bother me, it’s that you lied and you didn’t have to.”

Epps fired back on social media.

“They was on ‘Saturday Night Live’ talking about you — imitating you, but now you wanna fight me?” he said on his eight-million-strong Instagram account.

Epps suggested that Sharpe was being messy and tried to get Katt Williams to talk crazy about him.

“You was tryna [sic] get him to talk crazy about me, but he didn’t, OK,” he continued. “Now, second of all, talking about pullin’ up on me — You gon [sic] be at the All-Star [game], I’m gon [sic] be at at the All-Star [game] in my hometown … and Imma see you, aight?”

Finally, Epps said he’s not a fighter, but suggested there is one other way to handle the beef, saying “blank, blank, blank, blank, blank” in rapid succession.
