LAS VEGAS — Superstar crooner Usher ripped it during his highly-anticipated Halftime Show at Super Bowl LVIII inside Reliant Stadium in Sin City.
The “Yeah” singer detonated on centerstage of the gridiron ripping off the plethora of hit songs that made him a household name and intergalactic star.
Usher commenced the performance with “Situations,” and then stripped off a white cape as an ode to the late legendary James Brown. He told fans during the Super Bowl press conference that he would pay homage to the great Atlanta and Georgia acts, and he didn’t disappoint.
The surprise appearances included Alicia Keys, who was unveiled from underneath a gigantic red scarf that was peeled back and showed the singer at a bright ruby piano.
Usher transitioned into the No. 1 smash hit “You Got It Bad,” which he belted out as he peeled off his shirt, then unwrapped his tank top as women screamed in the audience.
Usher went off to change, and donned a sequined blue and black outfit and took to skating around the stage.
Lil Jon then appeared onstage to introduce one of the biggest pop hits of the modern era, “Yeah,” with Ludacris appearing to set it off with a matching blue-and-black sequined futuristic outfit.
All of the performers then gathered at the center of the field as the music rose to a crescendo and they shouted “Yeah,” as the cameras faded to black.
