NBA superstar Kevin Duran routinely responds to boorish behavior and triggering outbursts from fans, both in person and on social media.

Durant, 35, whipped around with a quickness when two fans called him the equivalent of a female dog as he and his teammates ran onto the court for pre-game warm-ups on Wednesday night, Feb. 22, 2024.

Even though the fans did not mention Durant by name, according to local WFAA sports anchor Jonah Javad who captured the footage, Durant took exception to the expletive and walked up to the pair.

Despite the profanity that the 14-time NBA All-Star believes was aimed at him, KD kept his composure to engage in a conversation. During the entire time, the man and female fans tried to shake his hand and give KD a high-five, which he refused to do.

After a short interaction, with a security person on KD’s flank, the Phoenix Suns star turned away to undergo his pre-game routine. KD, however, decided against the suggestion that the fans be ejected from the court.

Kevin Durant has responded to fans’ outbursts before

This is not the first time KD has taken time to retort to fan criticism or rude words. Four years ago, KD told a fan to “watch the f—ing game and shut the f— up” when that wayward person blurted out that KD was “soft.” Another time, Durant ordered a fan to “shut the f— up and sit down” when they demanded that he take over the game.
