Shannon Sharpe had an amazing start to the new year after releasing his “Club Shay Shay” episode with Katt Williams. Not only did the episode cause rifts between other comedians and kept the world talking, but it also earned Sharpe a good amount of money.
On his “Nightcap” show with Chad Ochocinco, Sharpe revealed how much money he made from the episode.
“Everybody was talking about how much money I made doing the Katt Williams interview,” Sharpe said. “I just got the check. So whatever you think I made, three times it. So if you think I made $500,000, three times it. If you think I made a million, three times it. If you think I made $2 million, three times it.
“I made more money on Katt Williams alone than I made in any year that I played the NFL.”

According to Spotrac, the most Sharpe made in an NFL season was $5 million with the Baltimore Ravens in 2000. In other words, Sharpe says that he is living well nowadays.
People have also mocked Sharpe during the week after his appearance at Total Wines with an all-green outfit. Others have decided to mimic the video, and Sharpe told them to keep doing it so he can get more brand deals.
“I need y’all to keep on doing it. Don’t you stop now. Don’t y’all hating mofos stop. Take y’all raggedy a– right back in front of them Total Wines [locations] and do it all over again,” Sharpe said.
