Budding NBA star Jalen Green mentioned his “baby” and “family” as motivational factors after scorching the Washington Wizards for 42 points on March 19.
It has been widely reported that the 22-year-old basketball juggernaut is the father of 39-year-old reality TV star Draya Michele’s unborn child.
Green’s play spearheaded the Houston Rockets’ blowout victory over the Wizards, 137-114, and capped off the Rockets’ sixth consecutive victory as they fight for a playoff spot.
The source of Jalen Green’s inspiration
During a postgame interview, Green spoke about tying his career high and the source of this recent hot streak on the hardwood.
“My family [is motivating me] — my family, um, my baby,” he said.
This has been a fruitful chapter in Green’s life. The red-hot Rocket was named the NBA Player of the Week on Monday alongside Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks.

Jalen Green and Draya Michele remain mum on the subject of parenthood
Neither Green nor Michele have confirmed publicly that they are having a baby together, but Michele did announce that she is expecting on her Instagram account.
Furthermore, fellow NBA star Kyle Kuzma seemingly confirmed that the two will be parents soon when he posted this congratulatory post to the rumored romantic couple, according to The Shade Room:
Internet sleuths also discerned that Green may have gotten a new tattoo in honor of Michele, which further corroborates other circumstantial evidence of their romance, including appearances together at NBA games.
