Many fans already believe Benzino is obsessed with defaming Eminem and knocking the Detroit emcee’s elevated perch among the pantheon of all-time great rappers.
The 58-year-old Benzino, né Raymond Leon Scott, confirmed this sentiment when he ventured to the Motor City and put up a middle finger at his mother’s restaurant, Mom’s Spaghetti, to convey his disdain for Slim Shady.

Benzino also uses the restaurant as the spot where he is filming his new video for “Rap Elvis” and continuing his relentless one-sided war against Marshall Mathers.
Eminem has already addressed how he and Elvis benefitted from Black music
Ironically, Eminem has already compared himself to Elvis Presley on several occasions during his career as two White artists who benefited tremendously from Black music.
On the collaborative soundtrack song with CeeLo Green called “The King and I” for the 2022 biopic Elvis, Eminem tells listeners, “I’m about to explain to you all the parallels between Elvis and me…. It seems obvious: one, he’s pale as me/ Second, we both been hailed as kings/ He used to rock the Jailhouse, and I used to rock The Shelter.
“I stole Black music, yeah, true, perhaps used it / As a tool to combat school kids / Kids came back on some bathroom s— / Now I call a hater a bidet / ‘Cause they mad that they can’t do s—.”
Benzino pulls Eminem’s mother into the prolonged beef with Slim Shady
Despite Eminem’s admittance that he was elevated above equally talented or better Black rappers, Benzino told his 25K-strong IG followers on Wednesday: “Mark this date. #Rapelvis Video soon come……oh the [spaghetti emoji] was horrible. #shadyslayer #Benzino 🐐🏴☠️👌🏽”
In a series of brazen clips, Benzino appears to be stealing one of the restaurant’s advertising signs and taking it with him. In the third video, Benzino takes a bite of food at Mom’s Spaghetti before throwing it on the ground.
Benzino also expressed his disgust for super-producer Dr. Dre’s opinion that Eminem is the greatest rapper ever.
On his IG account, Benzino wrote: “You know I think Dr Dre is one of the greatest producers of all time, and notice I didn’t say Hip Hop producers, but this is an insult to [Ice Cube], MC Ren, Snoop Dogg and The Doc and every other rapper who wrote all those hits. I mean this is his opinion and I respect it but c’mon Dre. [palm on face emoji].”
