Netflix’s hit sitcom “The Upshaws” is on its way back to television screens with a six-episode continuation of its third season coming soon.

In the hilarious new trailer, arch rivals Bennie and Lucretia pick up right where they left off….at each others throats while a number of other issues take hold of the Upshaw household.

As we learn in the sneak peek, Bennie is resistant to the changing times in a number of ways including his not wanting to take in smart cars to his repair shop and an even bigger headache is on the horizon for him and the family as they contend with the fact that oldest daughter Aaliyah now has a boyfriend.

Per Netflix’s official synopsis, viewers will witness “the Upshaws continue to ride life’s ups and downs, including new jobs, bigger dreams, health struggles and some major life surprises but still hanging on with the love that comes with family.”

First premiering in 2021, the series is led by Mike Epps, Kim Fields, and Wanda Sykes along with Diamond Lyons, Journey Christine, Jermelle Simon and Khali Spraggins.

The Upshaws returns to Netflix with its six-episode continuation of season 3 on April 18.
