Paternally petty Brian McKnight continues dissing his biological children

Brian McKnight has made it known for a while that he does not have a relationship with his biological children — and from the looks of it, he never plans to have one. Instead, he loves to show love for his stepdaughter, who he proudly claims whenever he gets the opportunity.

That’s what recently happened when McKnight went on Instagram and responded to questions from social media users. One user questioned how his biological daughter must feel being disowned by his father as he praises his stepdaughter, Julia.

“Julia understands the scriptures,” McKnight responded in a video where he quotes Exodus 20:12, “where it says, and I quote, ‘Honor thy father and thy mother that thy days be long upon the land.’ See, she honors us, and in turn, we honor her because she knows how proud of her we are.”

“The ones that keep saying ‘What about his other children’ … some families are pure evil and can influence your own children,” he continued.

“In order to live a life that you love, you have to get rid of the evil and negativity, even if that evil and negativity is related,” McKnight said in another video. “We want everyone to live a life that they [want], but in order to do that, you have to get rid of that evil and negativity.”

McKnight explains why he doesn’t acknowledge his biological children

In a YouTube video in May 2023, McKnight explained his family dynamic and why he doesn’t speak about his other kids from previous relationships.

“There’s a very simple reason why I post about some of my children on social media and not others,” McKnight said. “The children I currently do not have relationships with, I don’t post about them. Instead, I post about the children whom I do have relationships with and whom I’m proud of. ”

McKnight also addressed rumors that he abandoned his children. McKnight says they were all once a happy family until money got involved.

“I never abandoned anyone,” McKnight said. “Our estrangement was mutual, but those posts made any roads toward reconciliation and acknowledging them a dead issue.”
