Notorious rappers Gunna and YNW Melly expressed bewilderment as to why they were named in Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Euphoria” — which was aimed at his archrival Drake.

In hip-hop vernacular, Gunny and Melly feel they caught strays in a battle between two rappers they have no affiliation with.

Lamar rapped that “I know some s— about n—- that make Gunna Wunna look like a saint.”

Gunna came under fire in 2023 for cooperating with Fulton County prosecutors in the infamous Young Thug RICO trial, which enabled Gunna to escape prison time but may have provided damning evidence to help convict Thug.

On May 1, Gunna conveyed his confusion on X, tweeting, “Mannnn WASSAM?!”

YNW Melly also took an indirect hit from Lamar’s “Euphoria”

Lamar also named YNW Melly, the Florida rapper who is going to trial again for the alleged first-degree murder of his two rapper friends. Melly was denied bail after the first trial ended in a hung jury, and the commencement of the second trial has yet to be determined.

“It’s three GOATs left and I seen two of them kissin’ and huggin’ on stage / I love ’em to death, and in eight bars, I’ll explain that phrase, huh / It’s nothin’ nobody can tell me, huh / I don’t wanna talk on no celly, huh / You know I got language barriers, huh / It’s no accent you can sell me, huh / Yeah, Cole and Aubrey know I’m a selfish n—- / The crown is heavy, huh / I pray they my real friends, if not, I’m YNW Melly,” the Peabody-winning Lamar raps.

Melly said hearing his name on the searing track produced conflicting emotions simultaneously.

“Kendrick Lamar is one of my favorite rappers so I feel honored and appalled. I’m a household name — just for the wrong s—!!!” Melly explained to TMZ
