Porsha Williams asserts in court documents that her estranged husband Simon Guobadia has undertaken actions that are harming and “threatening” her TV career.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, Williams asserts that Simon was trying to “overburden, annoy, harass, and oppress” her. She claims Guobadia, 59, is accomplishing this by dragging Bravo into their turbulent divorce by demanding to see all of the footage, communication, storylines, and contracts.
Williams, 42, said his premeditated machinations “threaten her reputation, career, and ability to earn income” on the popular reality TV series.
According to the filing, “The Subpoena broadly requests contracts, amendments, memos of understanding, financial documents, all communications, photographs, videos, recordings, tapings, footage or filming, none of which is relevant to do with divorce, or at least no basis has been shown thus far why such an invasive inquiry into would be appropriate or reasonable.”
This follows Guobadia’s court filing, in which he accused Williams of trying to ruin his reputation by revealing or lying about his personal situations in the RHOA series. He threatened Williams with a lawsuit for her “libelous” actions. He claimed she sent a threatening text on March 11, stating, “Listen, I suggest you stop spreading lies about me. I am holding your truth, but I won’t for long if you are going to continue to lie on me.”
Williams met Guobadia while she was filming Season 13 of RHOA in 2020 — and he was still married to a friend of the show, Falynn Pina. The two claim they didn’t start dating until Guobadia and Pina were divorcing in 2021. They were married in November 2022, but Williams filed for divorce in March 2024.
