TLC forced to cancel a number of upcoming shows due to illness

The legendary group now has to reschedule a number of upcoming shows in Canada

It looks like the flu bug has hit TLC hard and is causing the legendary R&B group to postpone a number of upcoming tour dates in Canada.

A recent Instagram post from the “Waterfalls” singers disclosed that not only has lead singer T-Boz come down with the virus but also a number of the group’s tour band have taken sick as well.

“We deeply regret to inform you that we must cancel the upcoming date. Unfortunately, a few members of our tour, including T-Boz, have fallen ill with the flu,” the group statement reads. “As a result, she has lost her voice. Doctors have advised her not to perform this week.”

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Your support means the world to us, and we look forward to the opportunity to perform for you in the near future,” the statement concluded. “We love you and will see you soon.”

Thus far only the scheduled show for Friday, May 17 in Niagara Falls has been updated, given a new date of October 3, with the remaining shows in Moncton, Windsor, and Peterborough yet to be rescheduled.

Fresh off recently being given the Landmark Award at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, TLC is set to kick off their summer North American tour in Lincoln, California on June 15.
