Staying within the Def Jam label, Vince Staples released Dark Times, his final project while signed to the label. This is up there with some of the best work of his career. It’s simple and includes good production and quality rapping with a hint of the humor Staples is known for.

Sexyy Red released “In Sexyy We Trust.” The new track features Drake rapping over Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy,” the diss instrumental about him. Suffice to say that Drake’s contribution made headlines.
